Astyanyx Undyantara, Sir Darien Hartwhyte II, Torlon, Morwwen, Nova, and Shadoweaver arrive in Garon to be met by Carlyle Ivanhoe and Bekka who had been brought by the Shedu.

Carlyle takes possession of the Crystal of Power and outfitted equipped themselves for retrieval of the Black Pearl.

• Torlon and Nova copy some spells.
• Carlyle purchases a suit of full plate armor, a metal shield, and a warhorse.
• Shadoweaver buys some silk clothes and has magical torch made (continual light cast on a pebble which is placed in a scroll case).
• Astyanyx has his manticore tail spikes made into darts, then goes to the pub and hustles some darts.
• Bekka buys some desert clothes.
• Morwwen buys some chainmail armor and gives his Shield +2 to Astyanyx who in turn gives it to Bekka.
