Varden Kenzei, Orin, and Martinna arrive in Dansk.

They enter the mine and find a group of Kobolds with whom Varden strikes a deal. With the Kobold's help finds a shield and gem designed to defeat the Demon. After banishing the Demon back to the Abyss, Varden gives the shield to the townspeople with instructions how to use it, should the Demon ever reappear.

Martinna stays to help rebuild the town, while Varden and Orin set out toward Footfork.
