Known in common as white dwarves, the Hvítur are found on the highest of mountains, above the frost line, where few other humanoids dare to tread.
Well adapted to their frigid environs, white dwarves live in ice caverns carved from the mighty glaciers that perpetually cover their homelands.
Most Hvítur have copper-tanned skin and bleached-white hair. They are thinner than hill and mountain dwarves, having a × (1d4) lb. weight modifier on the Random Height and Weight table.

Snowvision. Accustomed to the glare of the sun on the snow-covered ground, white dwarves are unaffected by the blinding properties of bright light. You are immune to the visual effects of light based actions and attacks (as if a blind creature).
This replaces the dwarven darkvision trait.
Icecunning. Whenever you make an Intelligence (Nature) or Wisdom (Survival) check related to ice, snow, or cold, you are considered proficient in that skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency check.
This replaces the dwarven stonecunning trait.
Alpine Resilience. You have resistance to cold damage.
Winter Warrior. You have proficiency with light and medium armor, as well as the war pick and climber's tools.
