Stonesense. Whenever you make an Intelligence check related to natural stone, you are considered proficient in the Nature skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.
You may start with stone mail armor instead of leather armor and a stone staff instead of scimitar or other simple melee weapon.
At second level, you are initiated into the Stone Circle.
The Stone Circle is a Circle of the Land with the following circle spells:
| Druid Level | Circle Spells |
|---|---|
| 3rd | earthbind, shatter |
| 5th | meld into stone, wall of sand |
| 7th | death ward, stone shape |
| 9th | passwall, transmute rock |
Note: The spells earthbind and wall of sand are found in the Elemental Evil Player's Guide.
A Stone Circle Druid can use a stone staff with the shillelagh spell.
An invention of the Megalith Druids, stone mail armor is made by impregnating padded armor with a specific formulation of mud, which is then transmuted into a flexible stone.
Stone mail is medium armor. When wearing it, your armor class is 14 + your Dexterity modifier (to a maximum of 2). It weighs 30 pounds, has no minimum strength requirement, and does not affect stealth
A stone staff is a wooden staff that has been magically petrified to increase it's strength and hardness. It is a simple weapon.
A stone staff has no standard cost, as the method of it's creation is a carefully guarded secret of the Megalith Druids. It does 1d8 bludgeoning damage, weighs 10 lb., and is versatile (doing 1d10 when wielded two-handed).
