Skepahirðir
Although they prefer highlands and mountainsides, the Skepahirðir, known in common as Pastoral Dwarves, will make there home anywhere there is arable land.
The Skepahirðir have taken the dwarven love of meat and drink to the extreme by honing their expertise in farming. Rare is the Pastoral Dwarf who does not know at least the fundementals of brewing malted beverages.
Appearance
Due to occasional interbreeding, Skepahirðir tend to resemble the dwarven subraces in their proximity. This resemblence includes not only skin, hair, and eye color, but height and weight as well.
Racial Traits
Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence increases by 1.
Husbandry. Whenever you make an Intelligence (Animal Handling) or Wisdom (Survival) check related to farm animals, including livestock, or any of their natural predators, you are considered proficient in that skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency check.
This replaces the dwarven stonecunning trait.
Cropper. You are proficient with farmer's tools.
Brewcunning. When making any checks in which you are proficient involving fermented grain beverages, you add double your proficiency bonus.
