The largest of the islands of Pretannia, Albyrne lies northwest of Caelatia, separated from the mainland by the Canal Manch.
It is home to creatures such as brownies, pixies, and selkies.
Within Albyrne are four distinct geographical areas, called contrees.
Caledon, the northernmost contree, consists of three regions: Galldach (Bhiràir, Crìochan, Fìba, Galvidia, Gerghinn, Ludūniā, and Mormaerda), Goídltach (Athfhotla, Cataibh, Chrombaidh, Dálriata, and Gallaibh), and Rathluaidh, as well as two major island groups: Ailéntúatha (Arcaibh and Sealtainn) and Innegall.
Cambria, along the western coast, contains the kingdoms Dexlipar, Frycheing, Forgannyn, Ternyllwg, Vendota, and Venta.
Cornova, in the south-west, is a single, unified kingdom.
Loegria, the largest of the contrees, comprises the kingdoms Cantaware, Myrce, Norhymbr, Regnensia, and Weaxna, as well as the region known as the Denalagh (including the former kingdom of Ænglar). It is home to the sub-race of elves known as Meadhón.
