History

The region, originally populated only by elves, was subjugated by the Human Empire in A.I. 805. The period of Imperial rule saw the establishment of a number of human settlements throughout the area.

The expulsion of the Imperial administration, in A.I. 1162, was followed several waves of immigration by settlers from Theodisca. The various populations were finally united when Cryda Icelin was crowned first King of Myrce in A.I. 1339. The crown was then passed to Cyryl Wybben (A.I. 1359), Eawa Pendin (A.I. 1379), Wulfar Pedwyn (A.I. 1408), Cœnweal Redwald (A.I. 1457), Æthelbeorn Alwyn (A.I. 1469), Ecgwulf Cenwhyn (A.I. 1510), Cynehelm Ceolwyn (A.I. 1549), Ludewulf Beornin (A.I. 1574), Wystan Mundlaf (A.I. 1583), and Burhred Beorhtwyn (A.I. 1605).

In A.I. 1621, Tennemann invaders occupied Nottenga, and in A.I. 1630, siezed the eastern half of the kingdom. Queen Æthelflæs Ældrǣd, crowned in A.I. 1641, began a series of campaigns against the Tennemann, finally driving out the last of the rulers in A.I. 1664. After her death in A.I 1671, she was succeeded by her daughter Æwynn Ealman.
